Enzypher

Terms of Use

Last updated: June 18, 2026

These Terms explain the rules for using Enzypher and reflect the current product, including Google authentication, profile setup, direct and group chat, media, and encrypted/authorized UI states.

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Enzypher, including enzypher.app, the chat application, account setup flows, authentication, messaging, media, settings, and related services.

By using Enzypher, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Accounts and authentication

You may create an account with email/password or by using Google Sign-In. If you use Google Sign-In, you also agree to Google's applicable terms and account rules.

After account creation, Enzypher may require you to complete a profile setup flow before entering the app. You are responsible for keeping your account, device, and local authorization credentials secure.

3. Product stage and security expectations

Enzypher is a privacy-first messaging product with encrypted/decrypted interface states, local authorization flows, realtime chat, direct and group conversations, media sharing, presence, and settings.

True end-to-end encryption and true local-only authorization are planned upgrades. Until those features are fully implemented and reviewed, you should not treat Enzypher as an audited zero-knowledge or final E2EE system.

4. User content

You are responsible for messages, media, profile details, group names, public keys, and other content you create or upload. You must have the rights needed to share that content.

You grant Enzypher the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, display, sync, and secure your content as required to operate the service.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Enzypher to harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, spam, distribute malware, violate privacy, infringe intellectual property, commit fraud, or break applicable law.

Do not attempt to bypass security controls, abuse realtime systems, scrape users, interfere with the service, reverse engineer private APIs, or use Enzypher to harm the platform or other users.

6. Groups, friends, and visibility

Group admins may manage members, roles, group details, and group images. Conversation details, participant lists, message statuses, last seen/presence, and dialog previews may be visible to other participants depending on app design and settings.

You are responsible for who you add, message, or invite. Leaving or deleting conversations may not immediately remove content already delivered to other participants.

7. Google Sign-In

Google Sign-In is provided to make authentication easier. Enzypher uses Google account data only as described in the Privacy Policy, primarily to authenticate you and create or locate your Enzypher account.

If Google Sign-In is unavailable, revoked, or disabled, you may lose access through that method until it is restored or another supported authentication method is available.

8. Service changes and availability

Enzypher is evolving quickly. We may add, remove, rename, limit, or modify features, including security, UI, performance, notification, and messaging behavior.

We try to keep Enzypher available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, provider issues, outages, browser restrictions, and realtime/network failures may affect the service.

9. Privacy

Your use of Enzypher is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how Google user data is handled, how messages and metadata are processed, and how to contact us.

10. Intellectual property

Enzypher, its brand, interface, design, code, and related materials are owned by Enzypher or its licensors. You may not copy, resell, or misuse the service except as allowed by law or written permission.

11. Disclaimers

Enzypher is provided as is and as available. We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, and non-infringement.

Do not rely on Enzypher for emergency communications or for situations requiring guaranteed delivery, guaranteed confidentiality, legal preservation, medical advice, financial advice, or regulated recordkeeping.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Enzypher will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.

13. Suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for users or the service, abused the platform, or if required by law.

You may stop using Enzypher at any time. Account deletion and data removal may be subject to technical, legal, security, and abuse-prevention limits.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Enzypher changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.

15. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the Contact page or by email at support@enzypher.app.
